• Preference to persons with a valid “B” Class Refrigeration Operators Certificate
• Must have a valid class “G” drivers license
• Mechanical aptitude an asset. Good communication skills.
• Basic Computer knowledge an asset.
• 1 year of training and operation of ice resurfacing equipment a must.

Under the direction the direction of the Operations Manager, ensure that floods are done on time with safety being a prime concern. Primary duties include ice resurfacing, compressor log readings, janitorial work & building maintenance.

• Flood and maintain ice as scheduled.
• Participating in keeping all areas of the facility neat and tidy as well as safe at all times.
• Making sure that all entrances are kept clear and safe of all debris and snow.
• Monitor the ice plant regularly.
• Completing all log reports as required.
• Do minor maintenance on facility and ice maintenance equipment.
• Responding to customers’ needs in a kind and courteous manner.
• Auto scrubbing, waxing and buffing floors.
• Cleaning showers.
• Cleaning washroom areas.
• Performing some small maintenance jobs, changing lights, etc. 
• Window cleaning.

• Monday to Friday: 12pm to 10:30pm
• Saturday and Sunday: 8am to 7pm
• Part-Time & Full time Shifts

• $15-$20/hr based on experience
