COURSE DESCRIPTIONS

This program is designed for the younger player that may be tentative about attending a skating program without a parent supporting them.  This introductory program to skating will provide a foundation so that students can advance into the Learn to skate program.  Parent attending should have enough skating ability to be able to support their child during the class and provide encouragement.  Parents are required to wear at minimum a bicycle helmet. Students are required to wear a hockey helmet at minimum.

Participants will be taught the correct way to use their skate edges, develop balance and stride technique. Lots of fun and games will be balanced into the program. Participants are required to wear a helmet with face mask. We also recommend a snow suit and gloves.

SATURDAYS: 2:40pm to 3:30pm
