The perfect program for the aspiring hockey player with no hockey experience. Lots of fun and games balanced with hockey and skating instruction including puck skills, crossovers, forwards and backwards, stops and starts and game play. Great preparation for players signed up for there first hockey team. Full hockey equipment is required. Players must be able to skate from point A to point B without any help or falling down.

We are a "real" hockey school and not a figureskating or skating school teaching a hockey program. We train players starting at the "beginner" level through to the professional ranks. You will pay more to attend our school...but the results will be worth the investment!  

GORD CLARK

Gord is the head instructor for Hockey Fundamental programs. Gord is loved by the "little guys"! Gord combines a fun environment with professional instruction!

Skating is the foundation of playing hockey.  If you do not have the proper skating mechanics, explosive speed, quickness, and balance you’re missing out on the opportunity to out-manoeuvre your competiton.  A proper & efficient skating stride is crucial in enhancing overall skating performance. Future Stars Arena’s skating treadmill simulates actual on-ice conditions in a controlled environment that allows the athlete to improve & develop an efficient and powerful skating stride.
