The North York Storm Girls Hockey Association makes Future Starsa Arena their home on Monday Nights. The ladies in red, white and blue have a great time while they're here and take full advantage of our instructor team. We have thoroughly enjoyed having them here. You too can have your entire association trained here as with our expansion, we'll have 3 new rinks for 2013 including a full nhl-sized rink. We will also be featuring GIRLS ONLY changerooms and washrooms!
We'll be a 5-rink facility for 2013!

Perfect for the SELECT level player ages 6yrs-10yrs who are currently enrolled on a select team. This program encompasses the skill development, instruction and mastery of ADVANCED applications of skating, edge control, forwards and backwards crossovers, puck control, stops and starts, bodychecking (age appropriate), shooting development, goal scoring and game situation drills.

HOCKEY FUNDAMENTALS

The perfect program for the hockey players with 1 year houseleage expirence (Ages 5yes-10yrs). Lots of fun and games balanced with hockey and skating instruction including puck skills, crossovers, forwards and backwards, stops and starts and game play. Great preparation for players signed up for houseleague. Full hockey equipment is required. Players must be able to skate from point A to point B without any help or falling down.
We are a "real" hockey school and not a figureskating or skating school teaching a hockey program. We train players starting at the "beginner" level through to the professional ranks. You will pay more to attend our school...but the results will be worth the investment!

SR. ELITE- GOALS, GPALS, GOALS
- 7:40pm- 8:30pm (EDT)
GOALS, GOALS, GOALS: All aspects and techniques of goal scoring will be taught including principals of shooting, deking, fake shots, rebound control, one-timers, and deflection and "hot dog" techniques. This program is designed to help your child improve their goal scoring output in games.
*Jr. and Sr. Level age groups are available for above classes.

LEARN TO SKATE
- 9:40am-10:30am (EDT)
The perfect program for the aspiring boy or girl that wants to learn how to skate. Participants will be taught the correct way to use their skate edges, develop balance and stride technique. Lots of fun and games will be balanced into the program. Participants are required to wear a helmet with face mask. We also recommend a snow suit and gloves.
If you child outgrows the learn to skate lessons your package can be use towards the LEARN TO PLAY HOCKEY CLASS!
